Adolescent AOD Services
The Adolescent Program philosophy and goal is to provide accessible and respectful, evidenced-based practices (EBP) treatment services to assist clients with improving their quality of life.
The Adolescent Program provides group counseling through a three-step program designed around the Stages of Change and individual counseling. The program works in collaboration with the Knox County Juvenile Court to operate a Drug Court program for court referred youth. The program serves populations under 18 years-old. Treatment services are driven by Stages of Change and use modalities from Motivational Interviewing, Evidenced Based Practices Matrix Model for Teens and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Trauma Informed group counseling is offered to both male and female populations using the EBP, Seeking Safety.
